# Switching to Wishlist Drawer 2.0

Move your storefront from the classic Wishlist drawer over to Wishlist Drawer 2.0.

**New installations** get Wishlist Drawer 2.0 enabled by default — there's nothing extra to do.

**Existing stores** keep their classic "Wishlist" drawer enabled by default, so nothing changes on your storefront automatically. Follow the instructions below when you're ready to switch.

## Instructions

### Open theme editor

In Shopify Admin, navigate to Online Store -> [Themes](https://admin.shopify.com/themes) -> Customise Theme

### Turn off the classic "Wishlist" embed

Within your theme editor, go to **App Embeds** and turn **off** the **Wishlist** embed.

### Turn on "Wishlist Drawer 2.0"

In the same **App Embeds** panel, turn **on** the **Wishlist Drawer 2.0** embed.

Only enable one of these two embeds at a time. With both switched on, your store loads two copies of the wishlist and shows the classic drawer alongside the 2.0 drawer.

### Customise the new drawer

With **Wishlist Drawer 2.0** selected in App Embeds, use its settings panel to choose a presentation style (**Inset drawer** or **Liquid glass modal**) and adjust layout and colours to match your theme.

### Save

Click **Save** in the theme editor to publish the change to your live theme.

Switching drawers doesn't affect any of your customers' saved wishlists — all wishlist data is stored on the customer, independent of which drawer displays it.
